Make Your World
The challenge
Behind every cup of coffee lies a story — but most consumers never see it. NESCAFÉ wanted to close that gap, helping people understand how their daily choices connect to the lives of farmers around the world.
The challenge: turn sustainability from a corporate statement into a human invitation — one cup, one story, one difference at a time.
The approach
Make Your World — a storytelling platform empowering people to see the difference they make with every cup. Through real farmer stories, NESCAFÉ revealed how everyday actions contribute to a more sustainable world.
The campaign unfolded through a three-stage journey: Inspire with teaser films on social media, Engage through documentary-style videos following farmers like Kofi, Aisha, and Moussa, and Take Action by guiding consumers to support sustainable farming practices through content, back-of-pack stories, and the NESCAFÉ Sustainability Hub.
What we learned
- People care about purpose, but they act on connection
- Consumers respond most when sustainability feels personal
- By showing the real people who grow coffee, we could replace abstract claims with human truth
- Every cup has an impact
- It wasn't about changing the world overnight — it was about inspiring millions to start with their own
The outcome
Make Your World transformed sustainability from a brand message into a shared movement. It redefined NESCAFÉ's relationship with consumers, bridging the distance between the coffee in their hands and the hands that grew it.
The platform became a foundation for ongoing sustainability storytelling across markets — proof that change doesn't start with grand gestures, but with conscious choices made daily.
